Fresh Perspectives. Practical Conversations. Valuable Connections.
Explore the opportunities shaping composites at ICS 2026, taking place on 1–2 December at The Drum, Wembley.
Discover new ideas on the Main Stage, contribute to focused workshops and meet people who could help move your business forward.
The programme is in development. Session titles, speakers, timings and participation arrangements remain subject to confirmation.
Main Stage
Explore What Comes Next For Composites
Where will the next growth markets emerge? How can manufacturing meet rising production demands? And how should we design composite products for a longer, more useful life?
The planned Main Stage programme brings these questions into focus through presentations and panel discussions. Topics include:

- Growth opportunities beyond aerospace and automotive.
- Automation, additive manufacturing and next-generation tooling.
- High-rate production for single-aisle aircraft.
- Repair, reuse, remanufacture and multifunctional composites.
- Carbon fibre’s evolving capabilities and the thermoset–thermoplastic debate.
A proposed session will also explore opportunities in data centre infrastructure. The Women in Composites panel is being developed around the working theme The Power of Connection, examining how professional relationships support careers and open opportunities.
Future 10 introductions are planned across both mornings, spotlighting selected organisations and emerging innovations. The Carbon Fiber Conference is scheduled for the second afternoon.
Workshops
Bring Your Experience To The Discussion

Take a closer look at shared industry challenges through focused workshops on the Bridge.
The planned RECOUP Workshop — Making Composites Circular will explore barriers to commercial circularity and the changes that could make the greatest difference, using discussion and proposed interactive activities.
A construction workshop is planned to examine barriers to wider adoption of composites in UK construction and housing.
Further workshops are under development:
- Defence: Exploring sector challenges and opportunities; title, scope and contributors to be confirmed.
- Workforce And SME Support: A proposed discussion on recruitment, retention, leadership and knowledge transfer, with participation arrangements to be confirmed.
- Construction: Exploring barriers to wider adoption of composites in UK construction and housing, including standards, insurance and procurement; final format and contributors to be confirmed.
Final formats, facilitators and any booking requirements will be announced as details are confirmed.
Networking
Turn Shared Interests Into New Connections

Make time for the conversations around the programme. Planned opportunities include breakfast networking, Meet the Future 10 sessions and Women in Composites’ Conversations That Connect.
A construction networking activity is also proposed, with its format to be confirmed. A CompositesWorld networking reception is scheduled to follow the Carbon Fiber Conference on Day 2.
On Tuesday 1 December, continue the conversation at the ICS Networking Evening at The White Horse, Wembley.
