Dr. Stu Morris is Business Growth Leader for Aerospace at Toray Advanced Composites, supporting the industry’s adoption of advanced thermoset and thermoplastic materials for high-performance and sustainable applications. With more than 28 years’ experience in composite design, engineering, and manufacture, he has held senior leadership roles including Director of Business Development, Engineering Director, and Head of R&D at Pentaxia. Stu has worked across aerospace, defence, automotive, and motorsport, and earlier in his career founded and successfully sold a composites manufacturing business.
A PhD graduate in Engineering and Human Factors from the University of Nottingham, his projects include designing boats for Team GB at the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Olympic Games. He is especially passionate about developing sustainable, high-rate manufacturing solutions that drive performance and reduce cost.
